The Winter Fair Artisan Market features approx. 25 local artisans offering a wide variety of wares, such as artwork, knit goods, toys, pottery, cosmetics, and more. Our goal is to support and promote local artists. For this reason, only artisans who sell their own designs and/or hand crafted wares will be considered for the Artisan Market. Sales of pre-fabricated third party items, such as Dollar Store plastic toys, are not permitted. Artists interested in participating, please submit the application below.

Artisans may set-up in the gym Sunday between 9:30 am to 11 am.
Kara Lister Wade was born in Manotick, Ontario and currently resides in Ajax, ON with her wife Vanessa and two daughters, Marlowe Fern and Rose Olivine. She has been creating art for several years now while raising her girls.
I am a parent to three children who have attended Equinox since day one (one of those children is now in highschool).
With 3 boys of my own who have all had phases of loving to ‘dress up’ for parties, it makes me totally crazy that boys are so poorly served when it comes to dress clothing and I want to try to set that right.
I will be selling cotton boys neck and (some) bow-ties along with a selection of rolled hem napkins, hand stitched felt toys and children’s aprons, bibs and kerchiefs. A few of the ties will fit think-outside-the-boring adults as well.

I am a stay at home mum, now a homeschooling mum. We have been Waldorf since the children were really small, and I started making toys for them to play with as natural toys were hard to find. I gave them as gifts, and people started asking about buying them. So I started Toadstool Toys! It has evolved a bit with some handknitted household items that I made for us, like the hotwater bottle covers and dryer balls. Almost everything starts as an item for our family :) I am inspired by my children and their imagination, as well the nature that surrounds us. Practicality also inspires me, and it can indeed be beautiful! My soul sings when I create. My children often sit beside me while I craft, and that inspires them to create their own pieces, some of which feature in my shop. I get many compliments about my needlework, as well as the colours of yarn and felt in many items. My booth makes most people smile with all the colour and fun!
Offering stocking stuffers for kids and teachers, hand stamped greeting cards and tags galore!
