Rose & Fern Art

Heather Bell

I am a parent to three children who have attended Equinox since day one (one of those children is now in highschool).

With 3 boys of my own who have all had phases of loving to ‘dress up’ for parties, it makes me totally crazy that boys are so poorly served when it comes to dress clothing and I want to try to set that right.

I will be selling cotton boys neck and (some) bow-ties along with a selection of rolled hem napkins, hand stitched felt toys and children’s aprons, bibs and kerchiefs. A few of the ties will fit think-outside-the-boring adults as well.

Check out some of Heather’s makes on instagram at @tiespy.

Toadstool Toys

I am a stay at home mum, now a homeschooling mum. We have been Waldorf since the children were really small, and I started making toys for them to play with as natural toys were hard to find. I gave them as gifts, and people started asking about buying them. So I started Toadstool Toys! It has evolved a bit with some handknitted household items that I made for us, like the hotwater bottle covers and dryer balls. Almost everything starts as an item for our family :) I am inspired by my children and their imagination, as well the nature that surrounds us. Practicality also inspires me, and it can indeed be beautiful! My soul sings when I create. My children often sit beside me while I craft, and that inspires them to create their own pieces, some of which feature in my shop. I get many compliments about my needlework, as well as the colours of yarn and felt in many items. My booth makes most people smile with all the colour and fun!
