Why did you choose to work at Equinox?
I wanted the challenge of helping to start up a new, innovative school.
What makes working at Equinox fun?
The people I work with! From the students to the staff to the parents, everyone. I wake up wanting to come to work – how many people can say that?
What book/album/magazine/website are you enjoying now that you’d like to recommend to the school community?
I’m almost finished Alice Munro’s collection of short stories, Dear Life. Next up is Joseph Boydon’s The Orenda. Favourite music? Coldplay, Peter Gabriel, Sting, Lorde…
If you were a tree, which would it be and why?
Birch. A good stand of birch trees is lovely, and I love the way the bark peels on a birch, it renews itself a bit at a time.
What would you like the Equinox community know about you that they don’t already know?
I love lake sports: Windsurfing, paddleboarding, sailing and waterskiing!
