Our annual Winter Fair is one week away. A small group of parents are busily preparing for one of the favourite and most successful attractions, The Children’s Store. What’s in The Children’s Store, you ask? Well, it’s a surprise. And if you’re a parent, you’ll never see the inside of the store.
The Children’s Store is a special store where children are the only customers. No Parents allowed! The children enter thorough a special door where low shelves have been lovingly stocked by parent volunteers with beautiful handmade (mostly) items for purchase. With the help of a couple of friendly “elves” the children enjoy purchasing gifts for themselves and loved ones. It’s a great way for kids to do some holiday shopping for siblings or friends on their gift list! Items are 1-5 tickets each.
Quantities will be limited so shop early to avoid disappointment. If you can contribute some handmade goodies to the store, we’d love to have some more items! Please email ehascouncil@gmail.com for more information.
