Please consider ordering your tree from us and having it delivered to the school.

Your tree will be lovingly displayed at our Winter Fair first and then available after for you to pick up and enjoy the rest of the holiday season. Trees may be collected by the families that purchased them at the school after 3 pm on Sunday, December 3rd. By sharing your tree with us, you are not only helping make the Winter Fair experience become a reality, but all tree sale proceeds go directly support the 91st local Scout Troupe.

Order your tree online today!

If you want to order your tree in person, please visit the Grant African Methodist Episcopal Church (2029 Gerrard Street East) on Wednesday, November 29th, 2017 between 4 pm – 8 pm. Please make sure Warner, our Equinox contact, knows your tree is for the Winter Fair and records your name. He will be more than happy to help you find the perfect tree.

REMINDER: 4 pm – 6 pm park on north side of Gerrard only.

You can also visit the tree lot on Thursday, November 30th, by appointment only. Book your appointment by calling Warner at 647-821-2516.

Help Wanted!

It’s all hands on deck as usual to make this beautiful day happen. If you are interested in learning more about any of the volunteer positions below, please email the Winter Fair Committee.

CRAFTERS

Every year we need a lot of hands to make over 1,000 hand-made treasures for the Children’s Store. If you like to craft or want to learn how, please email us. We can either supply you with a crafter’s kit (comes with supplies and instructions) or you can make your own favourite crafts. This is a great way to volunteer from home in your spare time while giving back to the school.

VOLUNTEERS COORDINATOR

On the day of the event we need a Volunteers Coordinator to help all our volunteers check into their different stations. If you love people and keeping things organized, we need you!

WINTER FAIR COMMITTEE MEMBERS

There are plenty of little jobs to do and your input is welcomed as well! Become a member of the Winter Fair Committee and have fun getting to know fellow Equinox parents while giving back to the school.

Perhaps there is another way you would like to help that we haven’t thought of?
Send an email to the Winter Fair Committee.

WE WOULD LOVE DONATIONS OF:

  • Burlap (i.e. rolls or large sheets) to cover walls and tables
  • Old broken crayons to melt down
  • Extra tree stands
  • White twinkle lights
  • Wooden beads
