Where the Concrete Ends – Launch ‘N Learn Picnic – Tuesday May 21

We all know that Equinox is a pioneering school and offered the first public outdoor kindergarten program in Canada.  What we haven’t been able to offer is a natural classroom that supports this program, something that has always been the vision for the space.  We finally have a real chance to make it happen and with full-day kindergarten upon us in just four months, we need to act now!

 

Last week, we launched Where the Concrete Ends, a crowdfunding campaign.  The way it works:  we get the word out about the campaign, and then donors contribute in return for great perks!  Doing so will demonstrate to potential large funders and grant providers that we have significant support for the project within our school community and beyond.  We have already raised over $6,000!!

We believe that a beautified outdoor kindergarten area benefits all of us (everyone can play and explore outside school hours!).  Moreover, it represents a profound legacy for every future Equinox kindergarten student who will be able to experience the wonder of a truly realized outdoor program.

The sooner we reach our fundraising goals, the sooner we transform the outdoor kindergarten.  Please support us and spread the word!  And come out for a good cause and good company on Tuesday!
